Scouting Report

Kaminsky is a solid athlete with the type if wiry agility that will overcome some of the lack of traditional height at the next level. He stays on top and repeats his delivery exceptionally well, producing good leg drive and arm speed. He lives around 90-92 mph with his fastball, consistently topping out at 93-94. The lefty often struggles in his first inning of work, and his velocity is sometimes down. When he warms up, that fastball coupled with a plus curveball make him a very difficult at-bat. He has a hard 12-6 curveball that comes in around 79-82 mph. He's already spotting this pitch quite well. The changeup is seen less frequently in his arsenal, but he shows a decent feel for it at 80-81 with some downward fade.
