The Pittsburgh Pirates dropped their home opener suffering an 8-3 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday afternoon. The defeat left the Pirates with a record of 1-7 to start the season, Pittsburgh hasn’t had much go right, but one player who has given them a spark every time he has been called on is utility infielder Freddy Sanchez.
