Since he was acquired from the Detroit Tigers for Sean Casey it has been quite a ride for young reliever Brian Rogers. That ride landed him in the big leagues when he was called up from Triple A Indianapolis on August 28. He has been used sparingly by the Pirates appearing in two games and tossing two innings without surrendering a run.
