Left-hander Sean Burnett was a surprise phenom with the Pirates in 2004, but his run crash-landed that September when he had Tommy John surgery.

Burnett had a bumpy 2006 season with Triple-A Indianapolis posting a 8-11 mark with a 5.16 ERA. Burnett is hoping to battle his way back into the Bucs starting rotation. PiratesDugout.com's George Von Benko spoke recently with Burnett.

GVB -- How are you feeling?

SB-- I feel good. There's no doubt in my mind. It feels good to finally be 100 percent. Playing baseball is fun again. It's a pretty neat feeling. To hear the rest of George Von Benko's interview with Pirates lefty Sean Burnett. Listen to Audio
