Bay Slowly Rounding Into Shape

Pirates' All-Star outfielder Jason Bay had his Grapefruit League debut delayed by minor offseason surgery on his left knee. Bay finally saw action on March 7 against the Minnesota Twins. Bay is slowly rounding into shape. PiratesDugout.com's George Von Benko spoke with Bay recently at spring training.

GVB-- Jason how have things been going for you so far?

JB-- Oh, good I'm getting back in the groove and just going through regular spring training groove, now I'm just kind of getting out there and getting some at bats and getting my legs under me. Everything has been fine.
