LaRoche Fitting In Nicely

Adam LaRoche

Pirates' first baseman Adam LaRoche has had a steady spring training. Entering today's action LaRoche had appeared in 19 games with 49 at bats. He is batting .292 with 14 hits including two home runs and nine RBI. PiratesDugout.com's George Von Benko caught up with LaRoche recently.

GVB-- How is camp going and how are you adjusting to your new surroundings?

AL-- Adjusting good - it's been good. It's and I've said it before the camp is run a lot like it was over with Atlanta. It wasn't a big adjustment as far as the daily routines and the drills and for that matter the lineups and cutoffs whatever it is the formations - it hasn't been a real big adjustment.
