Wilson Likes Bucs Chances

The Pirates are off to a 3-0 start for only the third time in the past 23 years. Bucs' shortstop Jack Wilson likes the makeup of the ballclub. PiratesDugout.com's George Von Benko caught up with Wilson at the end of spring training.

GVB-- The team is going to hang it's hat on the young pitching staff and those young pitchers appear ready - they don't mind the spotlight.

JW-- Yeah, I think they are to. I think the guys have two years and some a little less and they're ready. They from what I saw in spring training - I think Duke has been outstanding, Snell has been phenomenal. Everyone is just getting ready and I think they should be more confident with what their offense is going to be able to do for them - give them a little more run support and make them feel like they don't have to go out there and be perfect.
