Bautista Settles In At Third

Jose Bautista

Pirates' third baseman Jose Bautista went 1-for-4 on Wednesday night with a double against Milwaukee. He is off to a .275 start at the plate with one home run and four RBI. He has also played some outstanding defense early in the season. PiratesDugout.com's George Von Benko caught up with Bautista recently.

GVB-- Jose you won the third base job in spring training and you've gotten off to a pretty good start at the plate. You have to feel good about that?

JB-- Yeah, I feel good so far. I think I've been consistent in my approach and trying to swing at pitches that are in the zone and just put the ball in play, hard, consistently and its worked out so far.
