Morris, who will be 33 next week, made his final start in a Giants uniform Sunday vs. the Florida Marlins, owns a 7-7 mark with a 4.35 ERA in 21 starts for the Giants this season.
The 26-year-old Davis is hitting .271 (13-for-48) with two doubles, two RBI and five stolen bases in 24 games for the Pirates. The righthanded hitting speedster was recalled from Class AAA Indianapolis on June 5 and made 12 starts in center field for Pittsburgh.

Morris a two-time All-Star (2001 & 2002) has pitched at least six innings in 202 of his 260 career starts and has won 118 games in the big leagues.
The Pirates will pick up the remainder of Morris' $10,037,283 contract for this season. He is due $9.5 million for next season, plus a $2 million payment at the end of the season.
