Outfielder/first baseman Jason Delaney had a solid season in the Pirates minor league system in 2007. The 25-year old Boston College product batted .340 in 72 games at Single A Lynchburg - with nine home runs, 44 RBI. At Double A Altoona. He hit.265 with seven homers and 35 RBI. In the Arizona Fall League he batted .234 with 14 RBI. PiratesDugout.com's George Von Benko spoke with Delaney recently. | |
