The Bucs took University of Arkansas right-handed hurler Duke Welker with the 68th overall pick in the second round. PiratesDugout.com's George Von Benko spoke with Welker. GVB-- What was your reaction to being selected by the Pirates? DW-- It was exciting. I was thrilled to know that I was a Pirate and I was also thrilled to know that it's over and I finally got a home and I know where I'm going. For awhile I had no idea where I was about to go.
