Neil Walker one of the Pirates two participants in the All-Star Futures was hitless in two at-bats for the U.S. Walker, the first-round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates organization in 2004, began the 2006 season in Extended Spring Training to rehabilitate after surgery to repair a torn wrist tendon. At Lynchburg, Walker is batting .245 with one home run and 15 runs batted in, in 45 games.
