Right-hander Daniel McCutchen was acquired by Pittsburgh in the July 26 trade that sent Xavier Nady and Damaso Marte to the New York Yankees. In eight starts at Triple-A Indianapolis the 25-year old posted a 3-3 record with a 4.69 ERA. Overall this season he was 11-12 with a 3.57 ERA.
