Former rule five pick Evan Meek had a successful stint with Mazatlan in the Mexican Pacific Coast League posting a 1-1 record with a 2.93 ERA and 10 saves. The 25-year old right-hander after starting out 2008 in Pittsburgh had a combined mark of 1-1 with a 2.51 ERA and four saves at Altoona and Indianapolis.
