Shortstop Chase d’Arnaud was the Pittsburgh Pirates' fourth-round selection out of Pepperdine in last summer's amateur baseball draft. He hit .286 in 43 games in the New York-Penn League last summer. So far this season the 22-year old is batting .311 with two home runs and 21 RBI for the Class A West Virginia Power. PiratesDugout.com’s George Von Benko spoke with d’Arnaud recently.
