Right-handed pitcher Victor Black was selected as a supplemental pick following the first round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft, number 49 overall. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Black went 6-4 with a 4.16 ERA and 99 strikeouts in 88 2/ 3 innings at Dallas Baptist University. The 21-year old is off to a 1-0 start at Class A State College.
