Hacker Thrilled To Be In Big Leagues

Eric Hacker		By George Von Benko PiratesDugout.com Date: Sep 12, 2009 The Pirates recently recalled right-hander Eric Hacker from Class AAA Indianapolis.Hacker who has never played in the major leagues was acquired in a trade from the New York Yankees on May 16 for minor-league reliever Romulo Sanchez. The 26-year-old was 5-5 with a 4.02 ERA in 21 starts for Indianapolis. PiratesDugout.com's George Von Benko caught up with Hacker after the recall.
