Biography:
In 2007, Pena, the one-time heralded prospect and former first-round pick, turned in the most prolific offensive season in franchise history. The powerful left-handed hitting first baseman, who also played excellent defense throughout the year, put up staggering statistics, setting the team record with an incredible 46 home runs, which were second most in the American League, and 121 RBIs.
