| Biography: |
| The Braves acquired Infante from the Cubs in December of 2007, along with reliever Will Ohman, for young pitcher Jose Ascanio. He broke his left hand during winter ball and has missed the first few weeks of the 2008 season. The Braves expect him to play multiple positions when he returns, including second, short, third, and all three spots in the outfield. |
