| Ramirez is in his seventh season with the Cubs after being acquired from Pittsburgh in July, 2003. He was named to the National League All-Star Team for the second time in his career in 2008 and finished the season with a .289 average, 27 home runs, a career-high 44 doubles and 111 RBI in 149 games for Chicago. He had a career-high .380 on-base percentage and 74 walks. He reached 100 RBI for the sixth time in his last eight seasons. |
